Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

A mediocre Little Rock institution that has been around as long as I have -- for almost 50-years. But, cheap tacos make it the closest thing to a Tex-Mex (not Mexican) food truck without wheels. If you want Mexican, the taqueria truck in Colonial Wine and Spirit's parking lot is far superior. But, if you want cheap taco's and other quick gut bombs, here ya go.

I eat here for lunch sometimes. I get a combo with a drink it always comes with a side of cheese dip and salsas with chips for under 6 bucks. Most places I spend 8 or. 9 bucks for lunch. This place is a good meal for a great price in my opinion.

Will never go back to this location they left my sons food out had to go back 15 minutes later and they didn't want to give it to me REALLY you left it out I had to come back the guy figured out maybe he should give us our food as his manager hid behind something and all you could see his arm handing the guy the food not Cool we asked for the manager and he hid like a 2 yr old letting his worker deal with it. Love the food but go to the one on Cantrell much better people we all make mistakes I work with the public and we all make mistakes but you still try to help them and at least say you are sorry instead of getting mad when you knew it was left out since it was cold when you finally gave it to me

The service here is not so hot. Mostly bored-looking people who act like they'd rather be getting a colonoscopy than handing you chips through a drive-thru window. The cheese dip is good; yellow cheese dip is certainly harder to find these days, and Mexico Chiquito has always done it well. However, if you're craving it, I'd head to the Cantrell location and have a sit-down meal in a nicer environment.

The cheese dip is awsome has a bit of a chili base but not it's not hot. At lunch time you can get a great deal. I strongly urge you to try their punch which is pineapple based with other fruit juices. You get chips and salsa with every order. Trust me try this Tex-Mex... Seriously.

This place gets one star for the polite gal that let me know not to use the passenger drive-thru lane. the lane I went to had a gal working that apparently didn't like dogs. That's fine, but you should then get someone else to handle this sale, not pull your hand back, scream "Uh-huh, no way...no dogs...you get your dogs back" I'm sorry...my dogs are used to great treatment at drive-thrus...regardless, you practically dropped my money, made me lean way out of the car to hand it to you, shoved my food at me and when I said, "it's okay not to like dogs" you immediately snapped back with "WHAT? DID YOU JUST SAY I NEED TO LIKE DOGS?" then slammed my food at me and the window shut. The taco salad I got was awful. A runny beefy cheesy like substance over soggy chips. for $8 with a drink. I threw it out when I got home.

Friendly customer service but not my type of food when it comes to Mexican cooking. Cheese dip average, salsa average, chips average. Beef barely seasoned but edible. I'm still on a search to find some really good authentic Mexican food.
